Het Buitenhuys is a lovely new building surrounded by a beautiful green garden where you can enjoy the peace of nature.
The B&B is located within walking distance of the village center of Itegem, a village on the banks of the river Nete and a district of Heist op den Berg. Here, people speak of 'the peaceful countryside'.
For culture lovers, our Kempisch village is centrally located: Heist op den Berg (5km), Lier (13km), Herentals (18km), Antwerp-Mechelen-Hasselt and Brussels are accessible in less than an hour by car or train.
Gourmands will not be hungry. There are plenty of bistros and taverns in the surroundings. We even have two Michelin star restaurant in the neighborhood, namely 'Hof ter Hulst' in Hulshout.
And sports enthusiasts can also get their kicks: you can walk, bike or canoe along the Nete. The B&B is situated on a cycling route.
In other words, everyone will be spoiled.
